Less is More Week 27 - Colour

Hi ya LIMettes

Hope you've all had a good weekend, I've just managed to squeeze in a card today for the Less is More challenge and this week Chrissie and Mandi would like you to use

and with mine being the same as theirs....
So here is my little entry for this week's challenge:-
 



So a little different for me.  I've got this stamp set from The Girls' Paperie in the stamp collection are all these stamps (and more).  The layout just jumped into my mind and after trying it out on scrap paper first I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.  I'm pleased with the result for such unusual subjects together - would love to know what you think.  I was going to place the bird so that the "crown" looked like it was sitting on his head but decided to move him over a tad to how it is above - it just somehow looked more pleasing to my eye!  I think I'm in love with the little birdie......!

Right well I'm off for a soak in the bath before lazying on my sofa with my hubby and Tilly and a glass of wine in hand this evening!!  Catch up with you all in the week.
