A sketch and a colour challenge (and who said peel-offs were boring!!)

Hi dear blogging friends!  Well today I needed to make a card for my friend's daughter who will be 18th at the end of the week.  So I decided that I would look up a sketch and found this lovely one at hippity with ippity (GHWI challenge no 5)

and when I saw this sketch it reminded me that The play date cafe have a colour splash challenge (PDCC97) black, white and a touch of red....

So I've crafted away and this is my card - do you like the peel offs......

(What peel offs I hear you say - oh all right then the peel offs are the sparkly border around the edge of the card (I had realised once I'd stuck the ribbon on that I had not matted the panel onto a black layer as in the sketch and this was my way around that problem...... does this mean I will start using peel offs again???? who knows???? I shall keep them stashed away in the cupboard just in case....!)

So do I feel super duper organised........... still that will not last long I can assure you!!!  Right off to have a cup of tea so catch up with you all later.

Happy Crafting

We go down to Essex quite a bit through out the year as we have an apartment in Tollsbury. It took me ages to find the Birds in the Barn shop as it didn't show up on the sat nav but found it in the end and so glad I didn't give up..
and next time we come down will let you know would be great to meet up..
