Blue & Green
There is an old saying
Blue & Green should not be
seen, Unless there's a colour inbetween!
In this day and age no colour combo is taboo, in
some cases the wilder the better.
My original plan for my card was to stamp some flourishes masked off in the middle of the card, but I couldn't get it to look right. So after a quick rifle through my "don't know what to do with, but gonna keep it just in case" pile I found this tree that is actually from an embossing folder, but I have just cut it out. I then thought I would decorate the tree with some sparkly gems. I then remembered that I had these two sets of sparkly flowers and in the right colours too so for me, that was it - they had to be used!!!! I finished off my tree with a little bow - it just felt right to do that - and I like its cuteness. I've left the card without a sentiment for the moment, as I'll keep this card for future use and it can be what I want it to be when I need it! [big tick for having a plan and being organised.... even if its just for today only - LOL]
So here is my card:-
Thought I might enter this card into these challenges too:-

So thats it for me for today, I shall be popping over to visit some of my LIMette friends who I've not visited in a few weeks. So until then...
Happy Crafting

How clever and creative to cut out the tree... and the bow and flowers dress it up so well.
ReplyDeleteVery impressed. And your post made me laugh - so true about blues and greens and no taboos these days. I just look at all the clashing color combos and wonder what our times were... pink and orange, magenta and orange...
