24 March 2010

I spent the day yesterday with my sister-in-law Jackie. She wants me to create a scrapbook for her of photos taken from her "Special" birthday party a couple of years ago. She saw the scrapbook that I had made for my sister's 40th birthday last year and loved it. So yesterday we went off to a couple of craft shops to stock up on some goodies ready for me to start her album! I tried to be careful with the items I was picking up, as Jackie was paying - but it was great buying craft stash and not footing the bill (well actually I did buy some "essential" stock that I "really" needed too LOL! We had a lovely lunch too - so all in all a great day. Now the "hard" work for me starts............ I'll post up photos of pages as and when I've completed them. Luckily for me Jackie has no time scale on this project (phew!)

Here are a couple of photos of a layout I did for my sister's 40th album last year.

PS Happy Birthday to my Sis!

Hi Tina,
What lovely pages, well done you!
I started a 12x12 scrapbook a couple of years ago but haven't got very far! think I should have started with an 8x8, as I find the large pages hard to fill!!

Thank you ladies - I really did enjoy putting the album together, especially as you use all your cardmaking skills and stash!!

Love your scrap pages Tina, The second one is particularly stunning in the monochrome. I have never attempted scrapping myself perhaps one day, its a job to fit in card making at the moment as I am so busy at work!!
