Mother's Day cards

Hi my lovely blogging friends - so sorry not to have been around for, what seems like, ages!!  Well back today and hoping to get back into my regular blogging habits!!  For today I wanted to share with you a couple of mother's day cards that I've made (one for sister and one for me).  Here they are:-

Mother's Day and Cupcakes

Had my mum and her partner as well as my sister and her partner over this weekend. As it was Mother's day I made a special effort and cooked up some cupcakes (my first time) I didn't have a piping bag so twirled round the butter cream icing with a fork. I'm pleased with the results and can confirm that they tasted lovely - although I have to keep eating them just to make sure!! Had a lovely weekend with my mum and sis - its hard work entertaining but worth it as I really enjoy spending time with my family - we all live so far apart that we don't get to meet up very often.

Here is a card I've made for my mum for mother's day. It is also my first attempt at an easel card too. I'm pretty pleased with the result. Would love to hear your comments too.
