Naturally Gorgeous - As promised

Hi everyone

Well I'm hoping that Mr Blogger has worked and that this scheduled post publishes!!  The reason for the scheduled post is that as you read this I will be at home with my crafting buddies, Shirley, Beryl, Karen and Julia (well Julia is new to cardmaking so I will be helping her to make some cards) and hopefully she will have a fun time!  There will be plenty of laughter, chat, coffee, biscuits and lunch so a great day should be had by all!

As promised yestereday here are another couple of cards that I've made using the Naturally Gorgeous kit from Craftwork Cards.

On this card I've used the card blank and sentiment from the kit.  The chandelier stamps are also Craftwork Cards, but the swirl stamp and ribbon are from my stash.

Again the card and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards the swirl stamp, ribbon and ribbon slider are from my stash.

I hope you like them and agree that they are "typical" me all nice and sparkly!

Less is More Week 79 - Colour

Hi everyone back as promised with my card that I'm entering into this week's Less is More challenge which is:-

Blue & Green

There is an old saying
Blue & Green should not be seen, Unless there's a colour inbetween!
In this day and age no colour combo is taboo, in some cases the wilder the better.

My original plan for my card was to stamp some flourishes masked off in the middle of the card, but I couldn't get it to look right.  So after a quick rifle through my "don't know what to do with, but gonna keep it just in case" pile I found this tree that is actually from an embossing folder, but I have just cut it out.  I then thought I would decorate the tree with some sparkly gems.  I then remembered that I had these two sets of sparkly flowers and in the right colours too so for me, that was it - they had to be used!!!!  I finished off my tree with a little bow - it just felt right to do that - and I like its cuteness.  I've left the card without a sentiment for the moment, as I'll keep this card for future use and it can be what I want it to be when I need it! [big tick for having a plan and being organised.... even if its just for today only - LOL]

So here is my card:-

Thought I might enter this card into these challenges too:-

http://www.craftysentiments.blogspot.co.uk/ - Clean & Simple (closes 12/8)
http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/ - Anything goes (weekly)
http://www.craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ Anything goes (weekly)
http://lexiscreations.blogspot.co.uk/ Sparkle & Shine (ends 18/8)

So thats it for me for today, I shall be popping over to visit some of my LIMette friends who I've not visited in a few weeks.  So until then...

More Pretty Little prints cards...

Good morning all - hope that you had a great weekend.  Hubby, Tilly and I went to a friends for a BBQ yesterday afternoon and had a great time - it was so kind of them to let us bring Tilly...  The food was fab, the company was brill and the wine flowed very well (too well in my case!!)   Thanks Max and Rob for a great afternoon...

So thought I would pop on today a little share that I promised to do a few weeks back, some more cards that I made using the Pretty Little Prints kit from Craftwork Cards.

I've created a varied selection of cards which I hope shows the versatility of these wonderful paper kits from Craftwork Cards, and how they can be used with any stamps and die cuts that you might have in your collection!

Thats it for my little share today.  Will be back tomorrow with some more projects and you will see I've been feeling a little festive!  Until then...
