The Shabby Tea Room Week # 50 Buttons and Bows
Good morning all
After my very lazy start to my day yesterday I did a spot of crafting (its a good life!) as I wanted to enter the next The Shabby Tea Room challenge Buttons and Bows. Here is their inspiration photo:-
and here is what I've come up with:-
The main stamped image is from a new set that I bought by Kanban whilst out at The Stitch and Creative Craft show last Friday (and yes I got lots of new crafty bits and spent a fortune - sooo lucky to have an understanding hubby!) Had a lovely day with two of my crafting friends Shirley and Cathy. You will probably be seeing a few more cards with these gorgeous stamps......
Anyway enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Kaboodle Doodle Challenge # 55 - Non traditional fold card
Good morning all hope your Monday has started off well - mine has as I've had an extra lazy morning this morning just couldn't get out of bed! Tilly didn't help as she was sitting in my lap wanting lots of morning cuddles so how could I resist! Anyway enough about my lazy morning its Kaboodle Doodle challenge time and this week the challenge is a non-traditional fold card. The DT were given images by Wink Wink Ink:-
And so here is my DT card hope it gives you some inspiration! Don't forget to pop over to Kaboodle Doodles and check out the other DT cards...
This non-traditional fold card is easy peasy just fold in half the front of the card back on itself. I choose this delightful little cat image to use on my card I think "she" is sweet. The BP's are from a gorgeous 12x12 pad by Tim Holtz idea-ology Vintage Shabby - I couldn't resist them at my last visit to Hobbycraft! I've overstamped the papers with a lovely paw print stamp set from Personal Impressions. The sentiment is from the same set. The ticket is of course TH again and I stamped the paw prints across the top of that too.
I have a friend's birthday coming up and she LOVES cats so she might find this one on her doormat very soon!!
Enjoy your day and happy crafting!

Its my Blogoversary
Good morning my lovely bloggers!
Couldn't let today go by without mention that today is my Blogoversary. Its a year today since I first started blogging - can't believe how quick that has gone. I've loved every minute of it and am still as keen today as I was a year ago (I could say perhaps that I'm addicted to it now!! and my hubby will back me up with that!!)
So I thought it appropriate to firstly thank all my followers for joining me on this journey and to thank each and every person who comes to have a look at my blog and for making the time to leave me such lovely comments - I'm so pleased that you do. I'm also so very pleased to have reached 50 followers - wow! (don't know about you, but I'm always pleased when I see I've got a new follower - its so exciting!)
So as a celebration I thought I would put some of my fav cards that I've posted up in the last year for you to have a look at today so... grab a coffee and comfy chair and take a little peak!
Well thats my blog year in cards - hope you enjoyed it and not nodded off!!! Here is to another year of blogging, and discovering all the talent and inspiration that is out there, to making new friends and enjoying the challenges that I enter and most importantly to having FUN.
Big hugs

Liebster Blog Award
I've been very fortunate to receive this award from two lovely people just recently both Jane and Colleen. How very lovely of these ladies to think of me!
The aim of this award is to give it to 3 -5 blogs you have visited that are relatively unknown and bring them to light [not with thousands of followers already]. Here are the terms for accepting the award:
1. If you have been tagged, do you want to accept? YES!!!! Then you have to create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo.
2. Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept it.
3. Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.
Right so here are the blogs that I choose:-
Hope you like your award ladies.
Hugs

Penny Black at Allsorts February Challenge - Say it with Flowers
I was crafting with my friend the other week and I borrowed her (larger than mine) collection of Promarkers to colour in this image and several other images too. I decided on this image to keep the colours to just the one and I liked how it turned out. I'm going to enter this into the Penny Black At Allsorts February Challenge - Say it with flowers.
I decided to follow the colour scheme through with the rest of the card. The BP is Pink Petticoat the sentiment and butterfly are from Craftwork Cards. Doily and seam binding from stash. I don't know if you agree but it gives the card a fresh feel to it.
Anyway thank you for looking.
