Blog Candy Win!
I'm very lucky to find out today that I've won some blog candy from none other than Julie Hickey (she has been such an inspiration to me since I started card making - I just love her designs). I've won a pink notepad which Julie has decorate herself - so I'm chuffed to bits about that! Have a look at Julie's blog here for her daily inspiration.

Wedding Cards
Morning all, just thought I would post up a couple of cards I've been working on. A friend of mine has asked me to design 6 wedding cards for a project she is working on. She wanted simple and elegant designs. Here are a couple of the designs I've done for her. Apologies for the photo quality, but I still haven't learnt how to use my digital SLR camera properly! and because the cards are all white, and the window ledge had the sun beaming through I didn't quite know what settings to put it on to get the best shot, but anyway hopefully you can see them OK. I'm also ashamed to say that I've also got Photoshop Elements - a recent purchase but again haven't had time yet to learn how to use that either!!!!!!!! I'm too busy blogging these days - its so addictive eh! So any comments on better photography skills would be appreciated!!!

Nothing since Friday and then 4 posts come along....
I'm like the proverbial bus - nothing for ages and then 4 posts come along..................!!! See below for all of today's four postings!
That Embossed Tree again...
Dasiy embossed and stamped card
I was having a play with a new cuttlebug folder with a daisy pattern. I then found this lovely scalloped cream card blank and thought the daisy panel fitted nicely on the front. But then what to do with the sides, and what message should I put on. Well I don't usually do much stamping (heaven knows why as its such fun!!) so I dug out a lovely little set that came free with a magazine ages ago and I stamped the pretty flower border, the Lots of Love, the swirl and the flower. I'm quite pleased with the result - I wasn't when I was half way through as I wasn't sure about my choice of colours, but now its finished - I THINK it does look nice! What do you think? Would love to read your comments.
Pretty in Pink with butterflies on top!
flower card
Whilst in The Range the other week I picked up a packet of these pretty pre-cut flower card blanks. I've decorated this with a Craftwork Card oval and some pretty daisy flowers that came with crystals in their centres - for a lovely bit of sparkle!! I added the raffia (Papermania Bare Basics) for a bit of texture. Great card for a really super duper quick-as-a-flash make!!

Special Thank you to Kath
This is a very special thank you card for a very lovely, talented lady - Kath ( http://kath-allthatglitter.blogspot.com/). I was lucky enough a few weeks back to be chosen by Kath (with a little help from "the Budster") to receive some wonderful blog candy. The candy arrived with the post this morning and I whipped up this card as a special thank you to her. I've managed to use a bit of everything that came too! Go and have a look at Kath's blog - she has many followers, and wears many Design Team hats! - her cards are truly inspirational. Thanks again Kath.

Rose Garden cards with scrunched up flowers
I've seen a few people make some lovely "scrunched up" flowers - so thought I would have a go. I used my cuttlebug and cut various sizes of scalloped circles using the Papermaina Rose Garden 6x6 paper pack. A bonus with this paper pack which I didn't realise comes with tags, borders and icons. I finished off the cards with some bare basics raffia too.
Embossed tree - now a card!
The embossed tree panel I posted the other day I've not put on to a card. I stamped some swirls down the sides and raised the panel off the card on 3d foam pads. I finished it off with a Craftwork Cards oval and a pretty ribbon and bow.

Non-crafting Shopping Spree...
I was away last weekend at my sister's. She lives near Bexhill-on-Sea. Now in the town there is a beautiful shop called House of Cards (yes they sell some lovely cards) but they also sell some gorgeous jewellery, chocolate and other things too. I was ages deciding between either a lovely necklace or a braclett. I went for the necklace: 1 - because I REALLY loved it! and 2 - because my sister said "You've got loads of bracletts"!! If I had enough cash I would have had both - but I was being very good and just got the necklace. BUT now I'm thinking I should have had both!!!!! Anyway had a lovely weekend with my sis. On the Saturday afternoon we had Afternoon Tea at The Grand in Eastbourne (get me!) - well it had been my sister's birthday that week and we wanted to treat ourselves - and my sister really did spoil us when she ordered a lovely bottle of sparkling pink wine - so as you can imagine had a lovely time! Oh and my new necklace looked lovely too!
Hello, sorry its been a while, Happy Easter
Hello sorry its been a while since my last posting. Here are some cards I've made recently....
This is a new home card I've made for a friend who is moving this weekend (hope it doesn't rain too much for her...) The card blank is actually an elegant card wrap from Craftwork Cards and the Oval and heart are also from Craftwork Cards - again I've coloured it in with Promarkers. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.
Well actually the one above is not a card, but me just practicing with a new embossing folder of a tree which I just love. I added a couple of little "puffy" sticker owls that I bought from Paperchase. I think it looks sweet so will probably add it as a topper to a card...
Happy Easter! Here are a couple I've made for my neighbours using the lovely Pink Petticoat downloads. To colour them in I've used a combination of Promarkers and glitter chalks, AND I got out of the cupboard my glitter flock! Have not used it much - don't know why? as it gives a lovely texture.
