WOYWW 97

Well a few weeks ago some of you may remember that I was having a reorganisation of my craft room, so I thought it appropriate to share the transformation with you all over at WOYWW for no 97!

So here is my desk/craft room before:-

As you can see quite a small area in front of the computer screen to work on... and the sofa bed was taking up too much room and was a "dumping ground! for bits and bobs!
so it just had to go...
The skip arrived...
I had wanted to donate the sofa to a charity but because we didn't have the safety label on it no one would touch it - such a shame to see it go but hey ho......  The new desk has arrived and thoughts of the sofa bed have long gone!  (Can you see Tilly in her favourite spot keeping lookout at the window!)

So much more space I can have my Cricut and sewing machine right to hand... and order has been restored on the desk with the computer - hubby is very happy about that!

I treated myself (what again you say!!!!) to what really is a garden ornament for putting plants on but I had other ideas "perfect" I thought for lots of jars of gorgeous ribbon...

Thank goodness for Ikea for there cheap jars (just over £2 for four - bargain!!!)

So that is the transformation for the moment.... I've got some other storage ideas up my sleeve and I want to decorate the wall behind the desk too so when that is all done I will of course share it with you all!

Thanks so much for popping by my blog today.

Happy Crafting

Your craft space looks amazing and that's a great attractive storage solution.
What a shame about the sofa, certainly too good to scrap. Don't you have Freecycle in your area. We do and there's never any health and safety warnings on sofas, electrical etc., as people take them at their own risk and you just have to advise them to get items checked out. I even gave away a bed from the spare room.

Oh! thats lovely Tina x

shame about the sofa bed, there is a yahoo freecycle group that people starting off or who need things, advertise them on Freecycle there is a Braintree one, and people collect stuff

the link is here:
