Ribbon Girl Challenge # 14

Hi well look at me.... second post of the day..... WOW haven't done that for a long, long time!  But anyways I wanted to enter the The Ribbon Girl challenge:-

Well as soon as I saw this theme it instantly reminded me of a card I made last month for my mum for her birthday - and well its just sitting in one of my computer files so thought I would dig it out and enter this fab challenge!  You've gotta take a look at all the DT work on this challenge totally and utterly gorgeous....

So here is my little card:-

The reason I choose this particular BP for this card is that my mum had seen the paper in one of my paper pads I was showing her that I had brought at a craft show and she loved this particular one.  She said it reminded her of the wallpaper we had at home when I was younger (albeit that it was all gold and not red!!) but we did have red carpet - sounds hideous - but actually it was nice - honest!!  So that was the starting point for this card - I too just love this BP its by Authentique and is called Uncommon.

Right off for mid-afternoon cup of tea and mince pie!

Happy Crafting

Gorgeous card Tina, and I love that BP. We had similar wallpaper too, it was green flock on a gold background, and dark green carpet. Bold colours were all the rage in the seventies weren't they, aaah we're showing our age! :)xx
